  • 100 g *Dried red lentils

  • 5 g *Parsley

  • 125 g *Firm tofu

  • 0.5 TL *Salt

  • 1 Prise *Pepper

  • 200 g *Tinned white beans

  • 3 g *Smoked paprika

  • 3 g *Garlic powder

  • 15 g *Malted yeast

  • 6 g *Miso

  • 40 g *Flour

  • 5 g *Olive oil

*Thoroughly rinse the red lentils in water. Measure out 3 times their volume in water. Bring to the boil in a saucepan then add the lentils. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes depending on the brand. Drain and leave to cool. Be careful not too overcook the lentils as they will purée. Check the texture with taste tests.

  • 100g *Dried red lentils

*Wash, strip off the leaves and dry the parsley. Cut off the leaves if they are too big. Place the parsley leaves in the chopper bowl. Press 'Start'.

*Coarsely chop the tofu and add the pieces to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

  • 0.5TL *Salt
  • 1Prise *Pepper

*Drain the white beans and place them in the bowl.

  • 200g *Tinned white beans

*Add the spices, malted yeast, miso and cooked, drained and cooled lentils to the chopper bowl. Mix by pressing ‘Start’. When needed, scrape the sides and restart the chopper bowl by pressing 'Start'.

*Pour the mixture into a bowl. It should have formed a sticky dough. Gradually add the flour until the dough no longer clings to your fingers. Adjust the amount of flour depending on the texture of the dough.

*Divide the mixture into one steak per person. Use your hands to shape the steaks. Set aside in the fridge for 30 minutes. Flouring your hands will make the shaping easier.

*Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Cook the steaks until golden brown on one side, then turn them over and do the same with the other side. Allow for around 10 minutes cooking time.
